Chris Bond
An enthusiastic, committed and motivated church musician with over 35 years of experience singing in church choirs, and playing the piano and over 25 years playing the organ, leading and training child and adult choristers, as well as selecting music for services, planning choral days, cathedral visits and all tasks associated with being a Director of Music within a church. My passion for striving to achieve the best possible results from the choir has been hugely influenced by my singing as a member of a visiting choir and now the Director of my own choir visiting many cathedrals in England, and listening to cathedral choirs whenever I can, to experience different styles of singing and direction. Over the past years, I have used this experience to educate my different choirs to aim for the 'cathedral sound'. As the son of an Organist, music, and more particularly, church music, is in my blood. I am a firm believer in making sure that my choristers enjoy and sound like they enjoy what they are singing!
Outside of music, I am mad about cars, especially 'classic' cars. I am a lover of dogs, comedy, red wine and, after 'finding football' later in life, a Tottenham Hotspur supporter!

Director of Te Decet Hymnus - a choir with over 45 members which deputises at English cathedrals when the cathedral choir is in recess, and who sing at fundraising concerts.
