Benjamin Markovic
Ben is an experienced liturgical and solo organist. He is currently the Senior Organ Scholar at Queens' College, Cambridge, having previously held scholarship posts at Worcester Cathedral and St John the Baptist, Chipping Barnet. Ben regularly undertakes freelance work, including playing for church services of all denominations and other special services such as weddings, funerals, baptisms and other seasonal services including carol services and concerts.
Ben is Director of Music and Organist at St Mary Magdalene, Enfield, and holds both FRCO and LTCL (piano performance) diplomas. He is appointed Organ Scholar-elect at St Martin-in-the-Fields.
Ben is an active recitalist, having given solo recitals at St John’s, Queens’, Trinity, Jesus and Sidney Sussex Colleges, Birmingham, Bradford and St Edmundsbury Cathedral as well as other venues across England.
